FAQ’S

What camera do i need for the class?

You are welcome to use any camera you have for the course. First and foremost, we cover the basics which you can use with any camera, however, we will go into depth about the settings on a DSLR camera. So it’s recommended that you have a camera with interchangeable lenses. A mirrorless camera or even a nice point and shoot would give you nice capabilities you can explore in this course.

Can I just use my smartphone?

While smartphone capabilities are forever growing, it’s just like any other camera. You have to know how to find light and compose a photo for it to be great.  And even though you may get a nice photo from a smartphone, learning to control the settings of a DSLR camera will always blow a smartphone out of the water every time.

Can my child take this class?

The in-person courses are not recommended for anyone under the age of 12. However, they may attend with a paying adult and will get ½ off their course fee. Please contact me, kristina@krosephoto.com for the discount code.

I don’t know anything about my camera. Is this class too advanced?

Nope. We will keep it simple and after the class, you have guided homework to keep you practicing.
